STUDIO POLICIES

ENROLLMENT POLICY

All classes require a minimum of three students: sign up on the Wellnessliving website at least 4 hours before the class start time to ensure your favorite classes are not canceled due to low attendance. Reservations can be made within one month of the session start date.

The minimum age to attend classes is 18 years old. Students between 15 and 17 years old can attend selected classes with the authorization of a parent or guardian and must sign the Liability Waiver.

All new students must sign a LIABILITY WAIVER before participating in classes, private lessons, training rooms, or a private event. Registration and payment must be completed before attending the class.

If it's your first time visiting Nu-U Studio (Pole & Performance, LLC) and you wish to enroll in an advanced class, we recommend that you contact the studio for a quick discussion/evaluation of your skills. This evaluation will ensure that you can safely perform the tricks and transitions taught in our advanced-level classes.

We welcome walk-ins, but if you know you plan to attend a class, please reserve your spot online.

Spaces are limited, and we do not guarantee spots for those who arrive without a reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

Group fitness classes must be reserved and canceled using the Wellnessliving website. Individual classes and class packages are available for purchase. Once purchased, NO refunds will be issued. Memberships and passes are non-transferable.

LATE CANCELLATION

PTo ensure that we meet the minimum class attendance requirement, you must cancel at least four (4) hours before the start of the class. Cancelling with less than 4 hours' notice or failing to attend the class without canceling will result in the loss of a pass. Those who cancel late or no-show (3 or more times within a 30-day period) will be marked for all subsequent late cancellations/no-shows, evaluated on a case-by-case basis. In the event that Nu-U Studio (Pole & Performance, LLC) needs to cancel a class, students will be notified at least 2 hours in advance via email. Passholders will not have their passes deducted, and no fees will be charged.

SUBSTITUTE INSTRUCTORS

While all our instructors are highly qualified, we understand that you may want to learn from a specific instructor. In the event that a substitute teacher is announced with less than 24 hours' notice before the class, you can contact Nu-U Studio (Pole & Performance, LLC) to schedule another class with that instructor within 2 weeks at no additional charge.

WAITLIST POLICY

If classes are full, you can join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will receive an automatic email notifying you that you have been added to the class from the waitlist. Please note that if you are added to the class, you will be automatically charged for it and subject to the same cancellation policy as any other class you enroll in.

If you are unsure about being able to attend on short notice, please remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid being charged for the class.

PURCHASES

Once a purchase is made, NO refunds will be issued.

PRIVATE LESSON

To ensure that our instructors are compensated for the time and effort they invest in preparing private lessons, we require clients/members to reschedule with more than 14 days' notice. No refunds or rescheduling will be provided if the lesson is canceled with less than 14 days' notice. Private lessons can be rescheduled based on instructor availability.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Nu-U Studio (Pole & Performance, LLC) collaborates with external instructors to offer special classes and events. Passes purchased for these classes/events are non-refundable and non-transferable unless canceled by Nu-U Studio (Pole & Performance, LLC). No exceptions will be made to this policy.

PRIVATE EVENTS

Private events or classes are non-refundable. They are non-transferable unless paid in full at the time of booking.

ATTIRE

Do not apply lotion to your hands or body on the day of your class, and remove all jewelry from hands, wrists, neck, and ankles before the class. Rings, bracelets, and watches can scratch the surface of the pole. Leave these items at home, as Nu-U Studio (Pole & Performance, LLC) is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Please observe personal hygiene, including body odor and excessive use of perfume.

Pole: Wear shorts for all pole classes – shorts should be opaque, and a snug fit is recommended. You can bring or wear yoga pants for stretching and warm-up. As you progress through the levels, you will find that many advanced moves require more skin exposure for pole contact. Always wear what makes you feel comfortable, but be mindful of safety.

Heels: Heels or full-footed socks are required for floor work and heel classes. Heels should be platform and have an ankle strap for balance and safety.

Yoga: Yoga pants or shorts and tops. Please bring your yoga mat, towel, and water bottle.

CLASS CONDUCT

At Nu-U Studio (Pole & Performance, LLC), we promote a safe and friendly environment for all our students. Courtesy and kindness are encouraged. We want all our students to feel at home. All students are expected to behave in a polite, friendly, and considerate manner towards their peers and respectfully towards the instructor. Any participant who fails to do so may be removed at the discretion of the instructor. Any participant who is expelled for a second time will be banned from the studio.

Students must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol in the studio. Any student suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be denied entry to the studio for the safety of themselves and their peers.

For safety, students must follow the teacher's instructions.

Students who miss the warm-up may only stay at the discretion of the instructor. Please be punctual and warm up properly for your own safety.

Experimenting with movements not being taught in class is not allowed; for assistance with specific movements, please speak to your instructor outside of class hours.

While we value peer support, students should refrain from "teaching over the teacher" to other students. Peer assistance or spotting is at the discretion of the instructor.

Students must keep the work area around the apparatus free from personal items or other items that could cause harm to themselves or others.
